Martin Collins CLOPF Fibre & Silica Surface
Cost effective performance fibre & High Grade Silica Sand
CLOPF® fibre provides root structure, similar to grass roots in turf, to existing or new sand based riding surfaces. CLOPF improves the surface stability, therefore the horse will work ‘on top’ of the surface rather than ‘through’ it. If the surface contains PVC or rubber, less CLOPF fibre will be required than for a plain horse arena sand or equestrian silica sand surface.
We use a non-waxed high grade silica sand and CLOPF fibre mix created by Martin Collins on our outdoor arena. This is an incredibly good jumping surface that is hugely popular within the jumping world. The surface allows for excellent stability for take off but enough movement on landing thus really looking after our horses legs.
Other CLOPF fibre clients include Mijas Racecourse in Spain, Pau Racecourse in France, Queen Ethelburga’s College, Bishop Burton College, Laura Bechtolsheimer, Nick Skelton, Church Farm, Nord Vue Arena, Auchlishie Eventing, Rowallan Activity Centre, Francis Whittington, Clayton Fredericks, Dressage at Hickstead, Dag Albert.
