About Tom

Having forged a successful show jumping career, including a number of Grand Prix wins and U21 British team appearances, Tom Davison is now in much demand as a coach and manager.

Having trained with some of the worlds best showjumpers, Franke Sloothaak, Billy Twomey and Will Funnell, he has a wealth of knowledge to draw on for developing the rider who is looking for show jumping management, coaching and training to attain their goals.

Tom spends much of his time coaching show jumping clients in the United States of America and across Europe. During the winter months till April, he is based on Wellington, Florida working along side Ireland’s Darragh Kenny where they run Oakland Ventures coaching programme catering towards developing young talented riders for International Grand Prix success.

From April until September, the programme heads to Europe with the students and their horses for a summer of competitions on the Global Champions Tour. Young riders can benefit from Tom’s knowledge of developing a rider’s understanding of training the horse on both the flat and over fences from the pyschology of the horse and rider to physically putting it into practise and getting the results.
