Loose ring tranz angled lozenge

A gentle training tool with a bit of extra help When a contact is taken, the Tranz Angled Lozenge rolls down onto the centre of the tongue, the €˜sweet spot€™, enhancing feel and responsiveness, thus a higher level of communication through the rein is achieved. The arms are slightly curved and of an oval profile. This oval design takes up less room between the tongue and upper palate, whilst offering a similar weight bearing surface from the horse€™s perspective as thicker, circular mouthpieces. The 14mm bridoon with neat 55mm rings is used with the Weymouth or on a small head. The 14mm normally offers extra lift from the shoulder and takes up less room in the mouth than thicker mouthpieces.

The smoothly running loose ring causes no unintended vibration through the rein.  It allows the mouthpiece to move within the mouth realigning itself during the various outlines.  It also discourages horses that are likely to fix and block through the rein.

Metal for the Mouth: All mouthpieces are manufactured from our Salox Gold TM alloy, formulated for high thermal conductivity, a soft feel with acoustic dampening and low bioactivity.

Our short link NS Tranz Angled Lozenge is aligned, uniquely, at 20 ° to the bore axes of the cheeks. When a contact is taken, the lozenge presses gently down onto the centre of the tongue and simultaneously lifts the side arm loops away from the tongue. The more pressure- sensitive side areas of the tongue are thus relieved and the thicker less pressure-sensitive area is brought into play.

A very popular comfortable mouthpiece that promotes feel and responsiveness encouraging a soft sustainable contact. The distance between the cannons is the shortest in the Neue Schule Sports Horse range of products and particularly suits horses with a narrow palatine (roof of the mouth) arch.
