Married to Gillian successful Grand Prix rider, former event and point-to-point rider. They have two sons: Tom (24yrs) and Joe (21yrs) both successful show jumpers and members of the British Show Jumping Young Riders International squads. Joe former member of World Class Development Show Jumping Programme and former British Under 18 Championship titleholder. Tom former member of band ‘Dakota’.

Live on family farm in Staffordshire.

London Olympic horse is Hiscox Artemis, owned by Countess of Derby (family notable for horse racing, owner of Ouija Board) and John Dodd Esq. Freestyle music by Sir Elton John and played and recorded specifically for Hiscox Artemis by the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra and arranged by Joost Peeters.
